SKETCHBOOK MUSINGS FROM SOUTHAMPTON
During quiet moments at the Southampton Fine Art Fair, I grabbed my trusty sketchpad (I never travel without one!), and let my pencil wander. This spontaneous drawing took shape over the course of a 30-minute break. Just a stream of subconscious faces, creatures, and layered forms emerging on the page.
I’ve never been good at sitting still without something creative to do. My hands need to be in motion — even in downtime.

SKETCHBOOK
Southampton, New York, July 2025 by Christine Adele Moore
I had the honor of delivering five commissions to one home in southeast Naples. The clients had met me back in February at the Naples National Art Festival and purchased a sea turtle painting from me. They loved it, and when I visited their home to deliver the piece, they decided to commission an additional five paintings to grace their beautiful home. What an honor!
Join me at the Pop-Up Art Event at the Promenade at Bonita Bay on October 25-26, open Saturday from 8am-4pm and Sunday from 10am-4pm. I’m so excited to share what I’ve been working on and if you love texture, you’re going to love these new pieces!
Transform walls and ceilings into works of art with hand-painted murals and custom designs by Christine Adele Moore.
These self-portrait paintings explore the emotional landscape of life as a traveling artist. My career often pulls me far from the people I love—my family, my partner, my dogs. In quiet, in-between moments, I sometimes take a selfie and send it off as a small gesture of connection. That impulse—to send love across the distance—inspired this series.
Sanctuary of Enlightenment is a companion piece to my earlier work Dharma Wheel. Both paintings share the same monumental scale and spiritual ambition. In this work, a serene Buddha figure is encircled by a richly detailed ornamental framework, anchored by pairs of sphinxes — ancient symbols of protection.
